Colour is joyful. I love to surround myself with it and to create or recreate scenes that enhance interior spaces — on canvas, paper or board.

Living on the shores of Georgian Bay in view of the Niagara Escarpment in Ontario, Canada, inspires me to capture the drama, beauty and

joy that surrounds me year round.

 

For over 22 years, I owned and produced a wonderful, life-style magazine called, Escarpment® Magazine that featured an

original painting of mine on every cover. Many of the works

on this site have been published as cover art.

 

I am mother to five incredible adults, who always amaze me with

their energy, zest for life and abilities to love. Now, I am also 'Nanny'

to 14 grandchildren! Their collective influence contributes to the

serene and often playful atmosphere evident in my paintings.

 

As a self-taught artist, I feel free to go wherever

I wish with my colour, shapes, expressions and interpretations.
